Spiced Green Tea Smoothie

This particular smoothie has a spicy cayenne pepper kick (which is optional) to help stimulate your metabolism.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ Cup strong green tea, chilled with 6 ice cubes
  • Pinch of tsp cayenne pepper
  • I lemon, juiced
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1 small pear, cut into pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. plain natural yogurt (this can be substituted for ½ a frozen banana to make dairy free)

Method:

  • Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy!

Gloriously Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup green tea, chilled with 6 ice cubes
  • 1 kiwi peeled and chopped into pieces
  • ½ cup green grapes
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • ½ lemon juiced

Method:

  • Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy!

Green Tea and Mixed Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cups strong green tea, chilled
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • 6 unsalted almonds
  • 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseed
  • 2 Tbsp. plain natural yogurt (this can be substituted for 4-6 ice cubes to make dairy free)

Method:

  • Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy!
