I love finding new delicious smoothie recipes, especially for the summer time. The following three recipes are not only unique and delicious, they also contain ingredients that will help you burn fat!

Pecan Pie Smoothie

Don’t let the name of this one fool you, it might taste like pecan pie, however this healthy smoothie will actually help you burn fat more efficiently!

Ingredients:

  • Apple of your choice with skin on.
  • 1 cup unsweetened light coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla protein powder (other flavours can work too)
  • 1 Tbsp. Coconut butter
  • Ice cubes (3-4)
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • Sprinkle of nutmeg
  • 1 drop stevia liquid (a hint of honey also works)

Method:

Blend together and then serve in a tall glass - Yum!

Green Tea and Blueberry Smoothie

This delicious fat burning combination is packed full of nutrients and will energise you as well!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 & 1/2 cups fat free Greek yogurt (you can use any yogurt you like)
  • 3/4 cup of strong, cooled green tea (use two tea bags)
  • 2 Tbsp. almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. ground flax seeds
  • Ice cubes (3-4)

Method:

Combine in a blender and then serve in a tall glass - Enjoy!

Cucumber Smoothie

This refreshing smoothie is both packed full of nutrients and will help you burn those calories.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Lebanese cucumbers
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 mint leaves
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Ice cubes (3-4)

Method:

Blend together and serve, so yummy on a hot day! :)
