Ever wondered how many calories you burn on average during your workouts? Well the exact number of calories is actually determined by your age, weight, sex, fitness levels and of course the amount of effort you put in. However I have put together a list of exercises and shown a rough approximation assuming you put in a good 30 minutes!

*The range in these calories is calculated for people roughly weight between 55 kg - 85 kg

Weight lifting

Moderate = 90 - 133 calories
Vigorous = 180 -266 calories

Calisthenics

Moderate = 135 - 200 calories
Vigorous = 240 -355 calories

Stationary rowing

Moderate = 210 - 311 calories
Vigorous = 255 -377 calories

Hatha yoga

Moderate = 120 - 178 calories

Walking

Moderate = 120 - 178 calories
Vigorous = 150 -222 calories

Jogging

Moderate = 180 - 266 calories

Running

Moderate = 240 - 355 calories

General swimming

Moderate = 180 - 266 calories

Kayaking

Moderate = 150 - 222 calories

Bike riding (stationary)

Moderate = 210 - 311 calories
Vigorous = 315 - 466 calories
