Most of the dips we buy from the supermarket are packed full of salt, sugar, saturated fats and other unpleasant preservatives. So why buy dips when you can make a more delicious and healthy version yourself?

This delicious chickpea and avocado dip (affectionately titles ‘Guacumms’) is fresh and jam packed full of nutrients. It is rich in vitamin C, protein, good fats, plus it also happens to be dairy and gluten free!

What you need:

  • 2 large, ripe avocados
  • 1 small, vine ripened tomato
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 can of chickpeas, drained
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp. Himalayan pink salt

How to make the magic:

The easiest way to make this is by combining all the ingredients together in a processor and giving it a good blitz. However you can just as easily mash the ingredients together in a large bowl using a spoon! Serve with some fresh vegetables for dipping and you have yourself a delicious and nutritious snack. Enjoy!
