Smoothie bowls are one of the best breakfast choices on a hot summer's day. You get the lush combination of a refreshing smoothie, coupled with the chewy textures of fruits, nuts seeds and other delicious toppings. I love smoothie bowls because you can make them to suit how you are feeling, or what you are craving each morning. Sometimes I enjoy a tropical bowl, with mango and pineapple, other days I crave something a little greener and opt for spinach and kiwi fruit, but this one is my all-time favourite!

Ingredients:

For the smoothie part:

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (fresh is also great, however I enjoy using frozen berries to help give that creamy smoothie texture)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

For the topping:

  • Fresh fruits and berries of your choice!
  • Dried fruits/ berries are an option
  • Chopped nuts
  • Seeds
  • Coconut flakes
  • LSA

Making Your Masterpiece:

  1. Firstly combine all your smoothie ingredients together in a blender then pour the smoothie into your bowl
  2. Decorate with fresh fruits, nuts, seeds and toppings of your choice and then voilà! It is ready for you to enjoy!
