Fancy indulging in a delicious chocolate mousse that tastes amazing, yet is practically a health food and packed full of goodness? Sounds a little too good to be true, yet this avocado and chocolate mousse is both fluffy, creamy and everything else you want your mousse to be, except it uses avocado instead of cream - and tastes amazing for it!
1 large avocado
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup raw cocoa powder
2 tsp Agave (honey or stevia also work)
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
In a processor, combine the avocado, the coconut milk and the cocoa powder and puree until smooth.
Then add your sweetener as well as the vanilla extract and fold together.
Transfer into a bowl and serve with some roasted nuts, fresh berries, or simply enjoy it just as it is!
